A content management system, or CMS, allows you to update your website content with little to no knowledge of HTML and other web technologies. With it, you can post news articles, add calendar events, create new pages, and update out-of-date information all from the comfort of your web browser.
I use a custom CMS I designed and created specifically for churches and small businesses. Using my own software allows me to quickly add the features you need, and reduces your risk of being the victim of website malware and malicious hackers.
If you already have a CMS in mind, that's OK too. I have experience creating custom templates and websites for Joomla and WordPress. Just know that you will be limited to the plugins and features of those systems and may need to update your CMS as security patches are released.
